Neutral Spring Oregon Coast Elopement

Back in the beginning of May when the Iris' were in full bloom and the grass was lush and green, we ventured over to the Southern Oregon Coast for a beautiful Spring Elopement. Lane and Micaela had to make the hard decision due to Corona Virus to elope on their original wedding day just the two of them along with their best friend/officiant/maid of honor and photographer Victoria Carlson (they plan to hold a celebration with family and friends come October).

The original venue, Crook Point Vacations was nice enough to rent them the Cliffside House for the weekend to have a special and intimate location to get married. This house is gorgeous along the Samuel Boardman Scenic Route with killer views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The day before the Ceremony, they ventured around and found the perfect location to exchange vows and finally say "I do".

On May 9th, Freckled Fleurs cruised over to the rental house and started setting up the most magical and romantic day for our couple. As Micaela and Lane started getting ready in separate areas of the house and Victoria Carlson Photography started on all the detail shots, I put the tablescape in order and drove over to the Ceremony location where I trekked in some buckets of flowers, anchoring mechanics, and our Black Modern Wedding Stands to setup something stellar on the cliffs.

Let's get lost in some details..

While Micaela finished the final details of getting ready and putting on her dress, Lane went over to the first look site and waited for his bride to be. This is always one of our favorite parts of wedding galleries! To see the reaction of the Grooms face seeing his Bride in her dress for the first time... major heart flutters.

We can't forget... the classic and timely humorous Corona Beer time these two enjoyed together before they went over to tie the knot.

Lane and Micaela (and the two person crew) headed over to the Ceremony spot up the road that Freckled Fleurs had custom designed for them. Lane lead Micaela through a high grassy field hand in hand for a total surprise of a dreamy cliffside Ceremony setup.

After an intimate newly wed Portrait session, these two came back over to their Cliffside Suite at Crook Point Vacations to a quick 10 minute Zoom call with family to have a celebratory Champagne toast and cut the sweetest cake we styled up.

And to wrap up a beautiful day, these two had brought a take n' bake pizza from Kaleidoscope Pizza to enjoy on a beautifully curated tablescape overlooking the Pacific Ocean on a windless evening. Some of our favorite details that the Bride had thought about was the sweet notes from their parents tucked into the plates. These neutral florals are a mix of Modern and Chic Boho that all of our Spring floral dreams are made of.
